Abstract

A new economic platform has emerged as a result of the widespread use of the internet and the development of information and communication technologies. The set of sellers had the opportunity to meet the set of buyers in the internet market, so they moved their activities to the electronic environment. Electronic commerce is the most convenient gate to the world. Electronic commerce, which has many advantages compared to traditional commerce, still has problems to be resolved. The problem of protecting personal data of consumers, lack of trust in e-commerce websites and inadequate service quality are among these problems. Moreover, as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic that affected the whole world from the beginning of 2020, the delivery problems and consumer grievances that emerged with the increase of e-commerce activities revealed the necessity to improve the quality and logistics network in the logistics sector. In this study, current data about the e-commerce platform in our country and in the world were evaluated and some solutions were proposed.
