The most important feature of an organization providing the differentiation from other competitors is that of its having competitive advantage. Many studies about the theories and views, that will achieve the competitive advantage for the concerned organization, have been carried out in strategy management literature. Having provided information about the Positioning School and Resource-Based views of strategy, this study also focuses particularly on the Positioning School View. In discussion part, the financial data of international organizations, which were published by an American journal Fortune, have been obtained from the website of Morningstar. The data concerned have been the ratios of Net Profit and Return on Assets, ROA. The organization scope of activities has been regarded as the independent variable of this study. The data obtained have been examined using One Way Anova(One Way Analysis of Variance) and Regression Analysis tests on SPSS. The validity of Positioning School View has been discussed according to the output analysis.
