The Covid-19 is declared a global threat which is gradually killing millions of people in the world. Its negative impacts are manifested in various sectors. From that situation, this study aims at analyzing the role of social media in prevention of the Covid-19. The social media usage is an opportunity to inform about the Covid-19 impacts to a wider audience. In this research, Facebook and Instagram are particularly analyzed in the light of preventive measures of the Coronavirus. The argument relies on a constructive role of Facebook and Instagram to prevent people from the mechanism of the virus outbreak. This study was conducted through qualitative method approach. This article summarizes the current reports and discussions about the role of social media. Active pages for interaction posts have increased through social media. It is illustrated that effective communication from trusted sources is a better preventive way as the analysis confirms it.
