Iklığ (Iklık) Family" as an Advanced Instrument and Teaching-Education Practices Forming of Traditional Turkish Instrument Iklığ and its Family has been analyzed under three headings in the research titled as preparing teaching-education practices and obtained findings have been explained in writing. Accordingly; 1. Etymology, historical background and present status of the instrument were highlighted and their dimensions were prepared by detecting newly formed members of the family. 2. For "Tenor" dimension of Iklığ family formed in four dimensions, beginner level academic program and draft teaching/education methods were prepared. 3. A sample repertory to be played by an Iklığ having Tenor dimension was prepared. This repertory included; a. Traditional Folk Music Samples, b. Traditional Classical MusicSamples, c. Authenticsamples written for Iklığ and its family, d. Adaptationsbased on Western music, e. Duo, Trio, Quartet andStriped (Piano, Guitar) sample works from different music types and varieties. Upon testing studies on teaching-education, theprogram and draft method were prepared by the researcher. Findings that were obtained via Historical, Descriptive and Empirical Methods used in the research were explained and results as well as suggestions were also stated in addition.
