The aim of this study is to find out what kind of adversity of social media usage can cause in daily life of young people who spend (more) time on social media. The data obtained in this study, which used field research method, was collected by face to face (interview) questionnaire technique with 421 people. According to research; It was found that women's social media addiction was higher than men, increased social media usage caused mental fatigue, social media usage adversely affected sleeping pattern and social media users further slept and social media addiction was an obstacle in fulfilling their responsibilities.},author={Mustafa İNCE-- Mevlüt Can KOÇAK},year={2019},journal={The Journal of Academic Social Science}}
