In the period we are called as information age, the success criterion of organizations depends on how it manages the intellectual capital it holds, rather than financial and financial resources. The value of the organizations is not only measured by the financial assets they possess, but also by the intellectual elements such as knowledge, experience, qualified workforce. Intellectual capital is the value of human knowledge. At the same time, intellectual capital is the whole of the information, skills, skills and creativity that the employees of the organization have in order to perform their assigned duties.This type of capital encompasses the values, organizational culture and philosophy of the organization. In the present study, after mentioning the concept of intellectual capital, the increasing importance of organizations in terms of information management will be discussed.
