Abstract

Eserhaddon, the king of Assyria, had his son Asurbanipal as the crown prince of the Assyrian Empire before he died. King Asurbanipal, who received a good education, repressed the rebellions in Egypt, and established a stronger dominion over Memphis and Thebes, and he closely defined Egyptian Art. After Urtak, the King of Elam, died, his brother Teumman was forced to become the throne, and he became allied with the principals after he became king. Asurbanipal, the last powerful ruler of the Assyrian Empire, has waged a great battle with Teumman on the shore of Ulai (Karun). As a result of the war, the King of Elam the Teoman was killed, and the princes of the alliance were taken prisoner. The details of the war in the reliefs are also explained in the inscriptions. Apart from the inscriptions, prism texts and tablets also describe the details of the Battle of Til Tuba. According to the documents written in this work, and especially the works of visual art in the Ninive South and North Palaces, the Til Tuba war and the victory ceremony at the end of this war will be examined.
