Electronic wastes have become harmfull for the economy and the environment due to the metals it contains. Countries with high E-waste recycling have some legal limitations in the production of electronic products to find a solution to this problem, and waste recycling has also introduced some legal regulations. there is no comprehensive legal requirement for E-waste that is thrown into the trash or is left in the vicinity in Turkey. In this regard, besides the inadequacy of laws and regulations, the fact that the society is unconscious increases the environmental problem even more. The scope of this study will be interpreted by comparing the regulations in our country with the regulations in other countries, which legal regulations should be added in order to increase the public awareness on the harm caused by E-waste to the environment, human health and economy.
