Abstract

The work-family conflict and work performance are two important concepts that have been frequently discussed in recent years. The work-family conflict attracts attention individuals' as an impressive factor in social and business life; has increased its importance both in terms of psychology and management science, and at the same time has created the need to increase the number of researches by looking at different aspects of the subject from different angles. In this study, it was tried to investigate the relationship between the work-family conflict and the work performance of the workers working in food and beverage businesses which require high time and extraordinary responsibility due to the nature of the service offered in the tourism sector. In this direction, an applied research has been carried out on the employees of food and beverage companies businesses in Eskişehir by using survey technique. In the context of the relationship between work-family conflict and work performance, it has been tried to reveal the elements that affect the occupational and family-oriented work performance of work-family conflict.
