With the development of technology, change has taken place in all areas of our lives. This change has gradually begun to manifest itself in communication tools. While the rate of preference for traditional media tools has decreased, the rate of computer and internet communication has increased. The fact that it is easier to process through computer and internet has also affected institutions. Organizations that have to adapt to change in order not to be lagging behind have started to use new communication technologies to gain more advantages. One of the places where institutions advertise through new communication technologies is web pages. Through web pages, institutions aim to promote themselves, speed up the flow of information, and increase mutual communication with the public. In this research web pages of Selcuk University, Necmettin Erbakan University, Karatay University and Konya Food and Agriculture University serving in Konya province were examined by content analysis method. The purpose of the research is to demonstrate how and how these universities are involved in public relations activities, which are evaluated as recognition and promotion activities, in their web sites.
