The study also attempts to examine to what extent attitudes of students towards English and English course are related to, their faculties, their departments and their sex. The population of the study is all the students who take English lessons in the first year of the faculties at Karamanoğlu Mehmetbey University. The sample is 316 students who are chosen by simple random sampling method. The results indicate that students have more positive attitudes at usability and teacher factors than interest and confidence factors.
