In this paper the reflection of multiculturalism on a mirror of different period of Turkish Literature will be deal with. In the first part of the essay the processing of multiculturalism will be evaluated since the period of Tanzimat. Multiculturalism is a notable concept in the structure of Ottoman society is comprised of people from different religious, language, ethnicity. In this essay the process of this notion in the texts of modern Turkish literature will be determined. The effects of the political, social, cultural events will be emphasized while stating the historical adventure of pluralism in the fiction world. The shapes of reflections of the social memory will be pointed out and as a result the importance of 1980 will be exposed. The differences of the perception of past time will be examined through a comparative method in the texts. The aspects about “the identity, nostalgia, otherization, pluralism, memory, foreign” and the positions of the writers will be indicated through their texts. In the second part of the essay Sait Faik Abasıyanık will be introduced through his humanistic perspective towards the lives of minorities.
