Abstract

In antiquity social live and culture were based on agriculture. The alluvial lands of the Cilicia valley were ideal for agriculture. The culture of agriculture did not just mean the cultivation of soil. In addition, these products were processed industrially. Therefore, it is necessary to study soil cultures in two areas, agricultural and industrial. The Cilicia Plain is a region where a wide variety of agricultural products are grown with rich land and suitable climate. Many of the products are industrial are industrial products that are sold out as well as others. One branch of industrial products is olive oil, one branch is textile. Throughout the ages people have not only consumed the nutrients as mere food, but also benefited from the healing properties of these foods.The end results of archaeological excavations and epigraphy shows that textile is widespread in this region. In addition, production and processing of mines in Cilicia Pedias was also common. The religious system in these area have developed in the direction of soil-based production. The Propose of this study is; to influence the faith and religious rituals of soil and mining production, to indicate the stages of sociological and cultural developments.
