RESEARCH ON INDOOR AND OUTDOOR ENVIRONMENT AUDIO SYSTEM EQUIPMENTS IN MOSQUES : THE CASE OF ISPARTA CAMİLERDEKİ İÇ VE DIŞ MEKÂN SESLENDİRME EKİPMANLARININ ARAŞTIRILMASI: ISPARTA ÖRNEĞİ
The purpose of the article is to examine exterior and interior spatial audio systems of twenty mosques in Isparta city by using observation and interview technique. Each mosque which has been chosen for the article has different dimensions and architectural properties and also all of the mosques have different trademark/model and technical specification in the context of audio systems and related technical tools. As acoustical features, such as reverberation times, clarity and acoustic absorbtion are important for mosques and as each mosque has not same acoustical features, changes in the context of the audio systems and related technical tools which are used in mosques are very important. Unsuitable Audio systems or unsuitable usages of these systems lead to lack of sound quality like buzzy and sound complexity during religious ritual at mosque. In this study some suggestions about this subject were made.
