The importance of the health sector is great in sustaining human life in a heathy way and enhancing the quality of life. However, the society not only has high expectations about the institutions operating in the health sector but also has many complaints about them. These institutions providing health care service to the society had better take into consideration and satisfy these expectations and complaints. The purpose of the study is to reveal the perceptions of people about the quality of the service provided by the hospitals they go. The participants of this study are the inpatients of Rize Public Hospital and Rize Training and Research Hospital. The comparisons were made in the light of the data gathered in the study. The data gathered from the study were analyzed via SPSS 18. They were subjected to descriptive statistics, t-test, Chi-square, ANOVA, and factor analysis were used.
