The goal of this research is to examine the relationship between inertia and organizational change management in educational institutions. İn the research,relational scanning method has been used. As the vehicle of data collecting, “organizational inertia” and “organizational change management” scales have been used.The working group of the research consist of 103 people who work in the district of Kemah in the city of Erzincan in Turkey. İn conseguence of the research,it has been observed that the level of inertia is medium and the inertia level changes depending on some variables.İt has been determined that the female teachers,the teachers who are at the ages between 41-50, married teachers,teachers at high schools and the teachers Who work at private schools experience much more inertia compared to the other sub Groups.When the teacher’s level of organizational change management is examined,it has been seen that they have got a low level organizational change management perception.
