The present study aims to investigate the mediating role of attachment types in the relationships between childhood traumatic experiences, marital self-efficacy and relational resilience. The study group consists of 531 married individuals. “Childhood Trauma Questionnaire”, “Marital Self-Efficacy Scale”, “Relational Resilience Scale” and “Experiences in Close Relationships-Revised” were employed to collect the data. Structural Equation Modeling was used to analyze the data. As a result of the research, the avoidant and anxious attachment types were found to have a partial intermediary effect between marital self-efficacy and childhood traumatic experiences. The avoidant attachment type displays a partial intermediary role between the childhood traumatic experiences and relational resilience. The anxious attachment type does not have an intermediary effect between relational resilience and childhood traumatic experiences.
