THE EFFECT OF JOB SATISFACTION AND BURN-OUT STATUS ON HOSPITAL EMPLOYEES' FAMILY LIFE: THE CASE OF HOUSEKEEPING PERSONNEL HASTANE ÇALIŞANLARININ İŞ DOYUMU VE TÜKENMİŞLİK DURUMLARININ AİLE YAŞAMINA ETKİSİ: KURUM EV İDARESİ PERSONELİ ÜZERİNE BİR UYGULAMA
The present study aims to determine the effect of job satisfaction and burn-out level on the family life of housekeeping personnel working in hospitals. The population comprised the institution and housekeeping personnel serving in the hospitals of Ankara (n=684). A questionnaire form was prepared with “Minnesota Job Satisfaction Questionnaire”, “Maslach Burn-Out Inventory” and "work-family life" questionnaire, which evaluates various aspects of family life and which has been constructed on the basis of previous studies was used. The findings revealed that the group with the highest job satisfaction level was cleaning staff and the group with the highest burn-out level was team leader-observer. The correlation and regression analysis results reveal that the employees' job satisfaction and burn-out levels are effective over their family life.
