Abstract

İttihat ve Terakki XIX. YY. While taking place in Turkish political history since the second half XX. It is a formation, a society and a party that have come to power in the beginning of the century and have given direction to social and economic field and education. This organization in power during the II.Constitutional Monarchy, during which time he made a number of arrangements in different sub-titles of education. These include girls' education, pre-primary education and vocational training. Recently, the number of institutions known as schools established outside the madrasah increased rapidly. In the period of the II.Constitutional Monarchy, western style schools continued to be opened; There has also been an improvement in madrasahs. In the period of II.Constitutional Monarchy, the Committee of İttihat ve Terakki made arrangements in madrasahs. In this study The reform of the madrash, which was carried out during the II. Constitutional period, will be evaluated in different dimensions. The other and more important goal is to try to determine what the İttihat ve Terakki aimed at this reform. Two different ideas can be mentioned here. The idea is that reforms are carried out with the intention to improve the science, economic and social aspects and course curriculum; Is the analysis of whether or not the madrasahs are thinking of changing the historical function by approximating to the school status.
