In a globalizing world, tourism enterprises need to integrate information and communication technologies into these management processes in addition to needing modern management techniques and strategies in order to achieve competitive advantage. Information and communication technologies therefore differentiate the forms of organization and management of the tourism industry. In this context, tourism enterprises face a number of issues and problems in terms of management and e-tourism management. The aim of this study is to contribute to the development of e-tourism by presenting the current situation and problems related to the e-tourism in the tourism industry and by offering some suggestions within the scope of studies on e-tourism in the literature.
