RECOMMENDATIONS FOR THE PLANNING AND USE OF AGRICULTURAL LAND IN GEVAŞ DISTRICT
Abstract
Land use is a multi-faceted concept, depending on the natural environment and human interaction. Human beings have been in interaction with the natural environment since the day they existed.. However most of the time, without taking into account the balance of protection-use of the land has benefited from it. These non-endless lands have been facing extinction after a certain period of time (These natural sources are facing extinction). This has led people to be more cautious in land use. Accordingly, for the past half-century, humans have begun to debate whether to use the land at its best (or not to damage it). In this study, the present agricultural land use status and planning suggestions of Gevaş district are tried to be put forward from a geographical perspective. Gevaş is located in the agro-ecological sub-region of TRB2 I of Van according to the agro-ecological sub-region distinction formed by evaluating the climate characteristics of theillicit, land form, soil characteristics (landcover) Geographically, it is located in the Van Department of Eastern Anatolia Region.
