Abstract

In this study, food safety and customer expectations were examined on Halal Food concept. For this reason, aimed to evaluate the "Halal Food" studies related to consumer expectations and increasing customer assurance in Food Sector. For this purpose; containing "Halal Food" and “Customer” concept together in the literatüre published domestic / foreign theses, articles obtained from accessible databases, papers, articles and researches are compiled. Subsequently, the obtained data were evaluated using descriptive analysis technique by qualitative study methods. 16 foreign and 3 domestic thesis / article studies including "Halal Food" and "customer" concepts were examined. This study is the compilation of researches and one of the most important results is that consumer awareness in our country is not sufficient
