As a data collection tool “Personal Information Form” prepared by the researcher and the “The Scale of Arıcak Professional Self-Respect” developed by Arıcak (2001) were used in the study. As a result of the research, it was determined that the level of professional self-respect of the students is high. There is no significant difference between the students' level of professional self-esteem and their sex, department, fathers' educational level, level of income, graduation from fine arts high school status and grade point average of pedogogical competency. However, the level of professional self-esteem increases as the level of education of the mother.
