Abstract

The purpose of this study is to examine the professional self-respect of conservatory students’ received pedagogical formation education in terms of various variables. 2015-2016 Dicle University State Conservatory Students (n=63) received pedagogical formation training, constituted the group of the study. As a data collection tool “Personal Information Form” prepared by the researcher and the “The Scale of Arıcak Professional Self-Respect” developed by Arıcak (2001) were used in the study. As a result of the research, it was determined that the level of professional self-respect of the students is high. There is no significant difference between the students' level of professional self-esteem and their sex, department, fathers' educational level, level of income, graduation from fine arts high school status and grade point average of pedogogical competency.
