ANALYZING PRESCHOOL CHILDREN’S PERSPECTIVES RELATED TO THEIR EVERYDAY LIVES AT PRESCHOOL OKUL ÖNCESİ DÖNEM ÇOCUKLARININ ANAOKULUNDAKİ GÜN-LÜK YAŞAMLARINA BAKIŞ AÇILARININ İNCELENMESİ
The general aim of this study is to examine the preschool children’s perspectives about their everyday lives at preschool. In line with this general purpose, preschool children’s views about their experiences at preschool, the things they like and dislike at preschool and their relationship with their friends and teachers were investigated. This study used a phenomenological design, which is a qualitative approach. The study was conducted with 27 children (14 girls and 13 boys) who were attending a private preschool in Beşiktaş, Istanbul city in academic year of 2015-2016. Children are between the age of 55-73 months and the mean age is 64,5 months. In this study, interviews and child drawings of qualitative data collection methods were used together.
