This important sources not only gives us theorical informations but also gives us the opportunity to know about musical understanding of that era. The subject of this survey is the importance of the process which is seen in Islam civilization in terms of music. this subject is evaluated deeply. in this aspect by following chronological method; with the help of researchers who are effected by old Greek sources, we tried to determine the theoricians and their works who are prolific from the early years of 9th century to the end of 15th century.
