Abstract

This research was designed to determine how the professional personality competence of physical education teachers who teach in secondary schools were perceived. This research problem sentence is “How the professional personal competence of physical education teachers are perceived by themselves?” Screening model according to research conducted by researchers at the scale forming research groups to physical education teachers face to face with the technique has been applied. The sample group in Istanbul in 2011-2012 academic year, the Ministry of Education working in the public and private secondary schools is composed of 224 physical education teachers. The data collection tool was used as a PET Occupational Personality Proficiency Scale. The data obtained frequency distribution of the occupational personality proficiency scale factor scores and gender, age, years of service and type of school according to the variables differentiation conditions for the parametric independent samples
