Abstract

It is important to work on the empowerment of women in order to turn the destructive effects of the divorce process into opportunities and to prevent the psychological destruction of divorce. In this study, the relationship between the age, education level, first marriage age and duration of marriage and psychological resilience of divorced women was examined. The study included 32 divorced women with a low socioeconomic level who applied to an institution for social and economic support. The women were asked to answer the issues here by using the Resilience Scale. One-way analysis of variance (ANOVA) was conducted to examine the effects of the determined variables on psychological resilience and sub-dimensions. As a result of the study, it was seen that there is a significant relationship between psychological resilience and educational status.
