Abstract
Devinim ve dönüşüm içerisinde olan dünyada her geçen gün neredryse her şey değişmektedir. Bu değişim beraberinde olumlu ve olumsuz olmak üzere birçok farklılığı da getirmektedir. Günümüzdeki küresel sorunlar arasında yer alan “küresel ısınma, iklim değişikliği” gibi sorunlar bile bu değişimin getirdiği bir sorun zinciridir. Tasarım odaklı meslek disiplinleri ve diğer birçok meslek disiplini bu soruna neden olan etmenleri çözebilmek için bir çok çalışma yapmaktadır. Kent parkları ise değişen bu devinim içerisinde önemi daha da belirgin hale gelmiştir. Özellikle tüm dünyayı etkisi altına alan 2019-2021 yılları arasındaki pandemi sürecinde de herkes yoğun kent dokusundan uzaklaşabilecek ve nefes alınabilecek alan arayışına girdi. Kentlerde bunu en yakın elde edilebileceği yerler kent parklarıdır. Fakat artık yoğun kent dokusunun artması kent parklarından ziyade “cep parkların” önemini arttırmıştır. Yapılan bu çalışma kapsamında türkiyenin en yoğun nüfusa sahip olan Mega kent istanbul’da yer alan “Koşuyolu Yaşam parkı” seçilmiştir. Çalışma alanının çalışma kapsamında; “cep parkların yararlarının neler olduğunu ortaya koymak, cep parkların daha yüksek oranda kullanıcıların ziyaret etmesi veya kullanılmasıyla ilgili faktörleri incelemek ve yoğun kent dokusu ve cep parkları arasındaki ilişkiyi ortaya koymak ve öneriler getirmek” hedeflenmiştir. Çalışmanın bu hedefi doğrultusunda yöntem olarak “Koşuyolu Yaşam Parkı’na” daha önceden gitmiş olan ya da orda yaşayan bir katılımcı grubu ile bu amaçlar sorgulamıştır. Elde edilen bulgular amaçlar doğrultusunda incelenmiş ve gelecek çalışmalar için önerilerde bulunulmuştur.

Abstract
In the world that is in motion and transformation, almost everything changes every day. This change brings with it many differences, both positive and negative. Even problems such as "global warming and climate change", which are among today's global problems, are a chain of problems brought about by this change. Design-oriented professional disciplines and many other professional disciplines are doing a lot of work to solve the factors that cause this problem. The importance of city parks has become even more evident in this changing movement. Especially during the pandemic period between 2019 and 2021, which affected the whole world, everyone looked for a place to get away from the dense urban texture and breathe. In cities, the closest places where this can be achieved are city parks. However, the increase in dense urban tissue has increased the importance of "pocket parks" rather than city parks. Within the scope of this study, "Koşuyolu Life Park" located in Istanbul, the Mega city with the most dense population in Turkey, was selected. Within the scope of the study area; It is aimed to "reveal what the benefits of pocket parks are, to examine the factors related to the higher number of users visiting or using pocket parks, and to reveal the relationship between dense urban tissue and pocket parks and to make suggestions." In line with this aim of the study, these aims were questioned with a group of participants who had previously been to "Koşuyolu Life Park" or lived there. The findings were examined in line with the objectives and suggestions were made for future studies.
