Abstract
Antroposen, insan faaliyetlerinin yaşadığımız gezegeni geri dönülemez seviyede tahrip ettiği ve yeniden şekillendirdiği çağın adıdır. Tüketim toplumunun sınırsız ihtiyacı için çalışan üretim endüstrisi, geride ne bıraktığını düşünmeden üretmeye ve doğal kaynakları tüketmeye devam etmektedir. Bu tahribatın tek müsebbibi bireyler değil, zamanda kitlesel hareketler, çeşitli organizasyonlardır ve bu süreçte payı olan devlet politikalarıdır. Bu tür durumlarda toplumda sesi en çok çıkan kesim aktivistlerdir. Ancak hem duruma dikkat çekmek hem de farkındalık kazandırarak bir şeyleri dile getirme noktasında sanata ve sanatçıya da büyük görev düşmektedir. Angela Pozzi bu bağlamda söyleyecek sözü olan ve bu sözü kendine özgü sanat pratiği ile dile getiren bir sanatçıdır. Pozzi’nin sanat pratiği okyanuslardan topladığı atık maddelerle oluşturduğu ve çeşitli didaktik söylemler içeren eserlerden oluşmaktadır. Bu araştırmanın amacı yaşamsal anlamda kritik öneme sahip olan antroposen çağının nasıl ortaya çıktığını incelemenin yanı sıra, iklim krizi, doğa tahribatı ve türlerin sonunu getiren insan eylemlerine karşı sanatın nasıl bir fonksiyona sahip olduğunu tartışmaktır. Betimsel tarama yöntemi ile yapılan çalışmada, ekolojik farkındalık yaratma bağlamında Angela Pozzi’nin eserleri incelenmiştir. Sanatçının eserlerinde vurguladığı eko-didatik söylemler farkındalık kazandırmada başarılı olsa da tasvir edilen felaket durumlarında herhangi bir sistemik değişiklik meydana getirmeyeceği görülmüştür.

Abstract
The Anthropocene is the name of the era in which human activities irreversibly destroyed and reshaped the planet we live in. The production industry, which works for the unlimited needs of the consumer society, continues to produce and consume natural resources without thinking about what it leaves behind. Individuals are not the only ones responsible for this destruction, but also mass movements, various organizations and state policies that have a share in this process. In such cases, activists are the segment that has the most voice in the society. However, art and the artist have a great responsibility both to draw attention to the situation and to express something by raising awareness. Angela Pozzi is an artist who has something to say in this context and expresses this word with her unique art practice. Pozzi's art practice consists of works that she created with the waste materials she collected from the oceans and that contain various didactic discourses. The aim of this research is to examine how the Anthropocene age, which is of vital importance, emerged, and to discuss how art has a function in this age that brought about the climate crisis, destruction of nature and the end of species. In the study conducted with the descriptive scanning method, Angela Pozzi's works were examined in the context of creating ecological awareness. Although these works were successful in raising awareness of the eco-didatic discourses they emphasized, it was seen that they would not cause any systemic changes in the disaster situations depicted.
