Abstract
Bu çalışmanın amacı katılımcıların deprem kaygısını ölçmeye yönelik ölçme aracı geliştirmektir. 34 maddeden oluşan ölçeğin nihai formu çevrimiçi olarak katılan 1067 katılımcı üzerinde uygulanmıştır. Araştırmaya katılan katılımcılar olabildiğince farklı yaş ve meslek gruplarından seçilmiştir. Araştırmada elde edilen veriler ölçeğin geçerliğine yönelik bilgi elde edebilmek için döndürülmüş temel bileşenler analizi yapılmıştır. Bu analiz sonucunda ölçeğin tek faktörlü bir yapıya sahip olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Yapılan incelemeler sonucunda tek faktörlü yapı deprem kaygısı olarak adlandırılmıştır. Madde geçerliğine kanıt olarak madde test korelasyonları hesaplanmıştır. Madde test korelasyonlarının 0,42 ile 0,72 arasında değiştiği saptanmıştır. Ölçeğin benzer gruplarda aynı yapıyı verip vermeyeceğine ilişkin olarak çapraz geçerleme çalışması yapılmış ve tüm gruplardan elde edilen yapı belirlenen faktör üzerinden de elde edilmiştir. Bununla birlikte ölçeğin güvenirliğine kanıtlamak için test tekrar test ve alfa güvenirlikleri hesaplanmış ve 0,87 olarak bulunmuştur. Araştırmada oluşturulan ölçeğin farklı çalışmalarla desteklenmesi önerilmiştir.

Abstract
This study aims to develop a measurement tool to measure the earthquake anxiety of the participants. The final form of the 34-item scale was applied to 1067 participants who participated online. Participants participating in the research were selected from different age and occupational groups as much as possible. To obtain information about the scale's validity, the data obtained in the research were rotated in principal components analysis. As a result of this analysis, it was determined that the scale has a single-factor structure. As a result of the examinations, the single-factor structure was named earthquake anxiety. Item test correlations were calculated as evidence of item validity. Item test correlations were found to vary between 0.42 and 0.72. A cross-validation study was conducted to determine whether the scale would give the same structure in similar groups. The structure obtained from all groups was also obtained over the determined factor. However, test-retest and alpha reliability were calculated to prove the scale's reliability and found to be 0.87. It has been suggested that the scale created in the research be supported by different studies.
