Abstract
Bir yetişkinin çocuğa karşı fiziksel, cinsel ve/veya psikolojik olarak kötü muamelesi, çocuk istismarı ve ihmali olarak tanımlanmaktadır. Son yıllarda konuya ilişkin ilgi ve farkındalık artmış olsa da bunun henüz yeterli olmadığı dikkati çekmektedir. Bu çalışma da çocuk istismarı ve ihmaline yönelik farkındalığın arttırılması, somut örnekler üzerinden konuya dikkat çekilmesi istenmiş olup araştırmada “Kefernahum” filminin çocuk istismarı ve ihmali perspektifinden analiz edilmesi amaçlanmıştır. Yapılan bu çalışmada nitel araştırma yöntemlerinden biri olan doküman analizi yöntemi kullanılmıştır. Bu doğrultuda ilgili filmin bazı sahneleri çocuk istismarı ve ihmali kavramları çerçevesinde incelenmiştir. Filmin baş kahramanı Zain’in istismar ve ihmal mağduru olduğu, olumsuz pek çok etkisinin davranışlarına yansıdığı gözlenmekte olup, yapılan betimsel analizle çocuk istismarı ve ihmali kavramlarına yönelik örneklendirme çalışmasının alana katkı sağlayacağı aynı zamanda konunun daha iyi anlaşılmasına yardımcı olacağı düşünülmektedir.

Abstract
Child abuse and neglect is defined as physical, sexual and/or psychological maltreatment of a child by an adult. Although interest and awareness on the subject have increased in recent years, it is noteworthy that this is not enough yet. In this study, it was requested to raise awareness about child abuse and neglect and to draw attention to the subject through concrete examples, and it was aimed to analyze the film "Capharnaüm" from the perspective of child abuse and neglect. In this study, the document analysis method, which is one of the qualitative research methods, was used. In this direction, some scenes of the related movie were examined within the framework of the concepts of child abuse and neglect. It is observed that the protagonist of the movie, Zain, is a victim of abuse and neglect, and many negative effects are reflected in his behavior, and it is thought that the descriptive analysis will contribute to the field and help the subject to be better understood.
