MEDYADAKİ TOPLUMSAL CİNSİYET KALIP YARGILARININ ÇOCUKLAR ÜZERİNDEKİ ETKİLERİNİN ALANYAZIN BAĞLAMINDA İNCELENMESİ

Abstract
Dünyaya gelişi ile beraber birey öncelikle çocukluk çağında ve devamında yetişkinliği boyunca gelişmek ve öğrenmek için sosyal bir yapıya ihtiyaç duyar. İlk olarak bu yapının temel taşı olan aile içerisinde ilk öğrenmelerini gerçekleştiren çocuk, okul hayatında, meslek hayatında ve diğer sosyal ortamlarda çeşitli semboller yoluyla bilgiler edinir ve bu bilgileri zihninde yapılandırarak davranışlarını şekillendirir. Çocuklar cinsiyetlere ve cinsiyetlere ait rollere dair bilgileri de bu yollarla edinir. Bu yapılandırma sürecinde önemli düzeyde etkiye sahip dışsal unsurlardan birisi de medyadır. Medya içerikleri yolu ile bireylere özellikle de zihinsel olarak şekillendirilmeye açık olan çocuklara toplum içerisinde kabul gören davranış şekilleri, tutum ve değerler gibi çeşitli olgular aktarılmaktadır. Bunlardan birisi de toplumsal cinsiyet olgusudur. Bu çalışmada medya içerikleri yolu ile sunulan toplumsal cinsiyet kalıplarının, cinsel gelişim sürecinde olan çocuklar üzerinde oluşturduğu etkiler, alan yazın çerçevesince incelenerek ortaya koyulmaya çalışılmıştır.

Abstract
With the birth, the individual needs a social structure in order to develop and learn, first in childhood and later throughout adulthood. First of all, the child, who realizes their first learning in the family, which is the cornerstone of this structure, acquires information through various symbols in school life, professional life and other social environments and shapes their behaviors by structuring this information in their mind. Children acquire knowledge of genders and gender roles in these ways. One of the external factors that have a significant impact in this structuring process is the media. Through media contents, various facts such as behavior patterns, attitudes and values that are accepted in the society are conveyed to individuals, especially to children who are open to mental shaping. One of them is the phenomenon of gender. In this study, the effects of gender stereotypes presented through media contents on children who are in the process of sexual development have been compiled and tried to be revealed in the context of literature.
