Abstract
Okul müdürlerinin görev paylaşımı yapmak, personelin motivasyonunu güçlendirmek ve yönetimsel kararlar almak gibi birçok görevleri vardır. Etkili bir iletişim olmadan bu görevlerin hiçbiri başarılı olamaz. Bu araştırmanın amacı, ilköğretimde görev yapan okul yöneticilerinin kullandıkları iletişim yöntemlerinin öğretmenler tarafından nasıl algılandığını belirlemektir. Araştırmanın çalışma grubunu Samsun ili Atakum ilçesinde görev yapan dört farklı eğitim kurumundan 30 öğretmen oluşturmaktadır. Veri toplama aracı olarak alanında uzman kişiler tarafından değerlendirip, geliştirilen ve dört adet açık uçlu sorudan oluşan yarı yapılandırılmış görüşme formu kullanılmıştır. Araştırma sonuçları öğretmenlerin, okul müdürlerinin iletmek istedikleri mesajları açık, net ve doğru yollarla iletmelerinin önemli olduğu yönünde görüşe sahip olduklarını göstermiştir. Araştırmada okul müdürlerinin iletişim süreçlerinin öğretmenler tarafından genel anlamda yeterli bulunduğu görülmüştür.

Abstract
School principals have many duties such as sharing tasks, strengthening the motivation of the staff and making managerial decisions. None of these tasks can succeed without effective communication. The purpose of this research is to determine how the communication methods used by school administrators working in primary education are perceived by teachers. The study group of the research consists of 30 teachers from four different educational institutions working in the Atakum district of Samsun. As a data collection tool, a semi-structured interview form consisting of four open-ended questions, evaluated and developed by experts in the field, was used. The results of the research showed that teachers have the opinion that it is important for school principals to convey the messages they want to convey in clear, precise and correct ways. In the research, it was seen that the communication processes of the school principals were generally found sufficient by the teachers.
