Abstract
Bu araştırma Türkiye’de bir kamu üniversitesinde görev yapmakta olan kadınların toplumsal cinsiyet algısını saptamak amacıyla yapılmıştır. 1 Haziran-20 Eylül 2022 tarihleri arasında çevrimiçi ve yüz yüze anket uygulama metodlarıyla yürütülen bu çalışma tanımlayıcı ve kesitsel tiptedir. Araştırmaya bir kamu üniversitesinde çalışan 228 kadın katılmıştır. Katılımcılara araştırmacılar tarafından hazırlanan “Anket Formu” ve “Toplumsal Cinsiyet Algısı Ölçeği” uygulanmıştır. Verilerin istatistiksel analizinde bağımsız gruplarda t testi ve ANOVA testi uygulanmıştır. Araştırmaya katılan kadınların %63.6’sının akademik personel, %66.1’inin 18-40 yaş arası grupta, %65.8’inin lisansüstü eğitim mezunu, %59.2’sinin bekar, %93.0’ının çekirdek aileye sahip olduğu ve %33.8’inin ise çocuk sahibi olduğu saptanmıştır. Katılımcıların %50.9’u orta düzey gelire sahip olduğunu belirtmiştir. Kadınların toplumsal cinsiyet algısı ölçeği puan ortalaması 106.75 ± 12.74’dür. Katılımcıların üniversitede çalışma pozisyonları ile toplumsal cinsiyet algısı ölçeği puan ortalamaları arasındaki fark istatistiksel olarak anlamlı saptanmış olup akademik personelin ölçek puan ortalamaları idari personele göre yüksek bulunmuştur. Ayrıca katılımcıların eğitim durumu, medeni durumları ile toplumsal cinsiyet algısı ölçeği puan ortalamaları arasındaki fark istatistiksel olarak anlamlıdır. Bu araştırmada kadınların yüksek derecede olumlu toplumsal cinsiyet algısına sahip olduğu saptanmıştır.

Abstract
This research was conducted to determine the gender perception of women working at a public university in Turkey. This study, which was conducted between June 1 and September 20, 2022 using online and face-to-face survey methods, is descriptive and cross-sectional. 228 women working at a public university participated in the research. “Survey Form” and “Gender Perception Scale” prepared by the researchers were applied to the participants. In the statistical analysis of the data, t-test and ANOVA test were applied to independent groups. Of the women participating in the research, 63.6% were academic staff, 66.1% were in the 18-40 age group, 65.8% had graduate education, 59.2% were single, 93.0% had a nuclear family, and 33.8% was found to have children. 50.9% of the participants stated that they have a medium income. The mean score of women's gender perception scale is 106.75 ± 12.74. The difference between the working positions of the participants at the university and the mean score of the gender perception scale was found to be statistically significant, and the mean score of the academic staff was found to be higher than that of the administrative staff. In addition, the difference between the educational status, marital status of the participants and the mean score of the gender perception scale is statistically significant. In this study, it was determined that women have a highly positive perception of gender.
