Abstract
Anayurt Oteli (1986), senaryosu Yusuf Atılgan’ın 1973 yılında yayınladığı aynı adlı romanından, Ömer Kavur tarafından uyarlanmış ve rejisi gerçekleştirilmiş, Türk Sineması’nın en ayrıksı, gerçekçi ve nesnel anlatımın hâkim olduğu filmdir. Filmin hikâyesi, 1980 askeri darbesi sonrası, Batı Anadolu taşrasında geçer. Başkahraman Zebercet, feodal bir ailenin son temsilcisidir, geriye kalan tek mülkleri olan Konağı bir otel gibi işletmektedir. Bir gün gecikmeli Ankara treni ile adını bile söyleyen meçhul bir kadın gelir. Film boyunca Zebercet bu Meçhul kadına âşık olur ve film boyunca onu bekler. Tüm film süresince Zebercet’in yaşam ile bağının kopukluğuna, sevgisizliğine, yalnızlığına, mutsuzluğuna tanık oluruz. Adeta Zebercet içinde bulunduğu zaman ve mekânın bir ürünü olarak, zamanına ve mekâna, yaşamına yabancılaşmıştır. Anayurt Oteli, ülke topraklarının vatanın simgesi olarak sunulurken, filmin ana kahramanı Zebercet ise; adeta Türkiye Cumhuriyeti siyasi tarihinin, demokrasi ile bir türlü buluşamayışının metaforu gibidir. 1950 yılında prematüre, ana rahmindeki gelişimi tamamlayamadan 7 aylık doğmuştur. 1950, Türkiye’nin tek partili yönetim sisteminden çok partili yönetim sistemine geçiş yılıdır. Henüz 10 yaşında bir çocuk iken 1960 yılında annesini kaybetmiştir. 1960 ilk askeri darbenin Türkiye’de gerçekleştiği yıldır. Aynı yaz Zebercet sünnet de olmuştur. Zebercet 1971 yılında da askerlikten terhis olmuştur, 1971 Türkiye’nin yaşadığı ikinci askeri darbenin yıllarıdır. Zebercet, 1980 yılından beri de oteli yönetmektedir. 1980 ise üçüncü askeri darbe yıllarıdır. Böylece Zebercet 1950-1986 yılları arasında yaşayan Türkiye Cumhuriyeti vatandaşlarının, Anayurt Oteli ise; adeta Türkiye Cumhuriyeti siyasi tarihinin, demokrasi ile bir türlü buluşamayışının metaforu gibidir. Gerçekçi ve nesnel bir form çalışması ile rejisini gerçekleştiren Kavur; Anayurt Oteli adlı bu filmiyle, sinema sanatının, temel anlamlar dünyasından, yan anlamlar dünyası yaratabilme gücünü gösteren, Türk sinemasının en istisnai, öncü filmlerinden birini gerçekleştirmiştir.

Abstract
Anayurt Hotel (1986) is a film based on the novel of the same name published by Yusuf Atılgan in 1973, adapted and directed by Ömer Kavur and dominated by the most distinctive, realistic and objective narrative of Turkish Cinema. The story of the film takes place in the Western Anatolian countryside after the 1980 military coup. The the protagonist “Zebercet” is the last representative of a feudal family, he runs the Mansion, which is their only remaining property, like a hotel. One day, a mistic woman comes by the delayed Ankara train and even doesn’t say her name. Throughout the film, Zebercet falls in love with this unknown woman and waits for her throughout the film. During the entire film, we witness the disconnection of Zebercet' with life, his lovelessness, his loneliness and his unhappiness. As a result of his time being and also space in which; Zebercet has become alienated from his timebeing and space,also his life. While the Anayurt Hotel is presented as a symbol of the homeland of the country's territory, the protagonist “Zebercet” is presented of the citizen of the time being; Zebercet, is almost like a metaphor for the political history of the Republic of Turkey, the inability to meet democracy in any way. “Zebercet”; was born prematurely in 1950, 7 months; before he could’nt complete the development in the mother's womb. 1950 is the year of the transition of Turkey from a one-party management system to a multi-party management system. He lost his mother in 1960 when he was just a 10-year-old child. 1960 is the year when the first military coup took place in Turkey. In the same summer, Zebercet was circumcised also. Zebercet was also discharged from the military service in 1971, 1971 was the year of the second military coup. Zebercet has been managing the hotel since 1980. 1980 was the year of the third military coup. Thus, Zebercet is a metaphor for the citizens of the Republic of Turkey who lived between 1950 and 1986, and the Motherland Hotel is almost like a metaphor for the political history of the Republic of Turkey; also the inability to meet decisively with democracy. Kavur, who realized his directing style with a realistic and objective form work. He also realized one of the most exceptional and pioneering films of Turkish cinema with this film “ Anayurt Hotel”, “Motherland Hotel”. This film also shows the power of cinema as an art; to create a realistic world to metaphoric world, side meanings from the world of basic meanings.
