Abstract
Alfred Andersch, Alman yazınının önemli isimlerinden birisidir. Özellikle savaş sonrası Alman yazınında büyük yankı uyandıran yazarın yapıtları, politik içeriği ile dikkat çekmiş ve büyük bir beğeni toplamıştır. Ahlaki ve politik eylem içerikli yapıtları, hem tarihsel bir döneme hem de toplumsal bir kargaşaya ışık tutan yapısıyla yazarı önemli bir temsilci konumuna yükseltmiştir. Yazarın bu çalışmamızda ele aldığımız Özgürlüğün Kirazları adlı romanı da Nasyonal Sosyalist dönemi oldukça başarılı bir biçimde betimleyen önemli bir yapıttır. Nasyonal Sosyalist dönemi odak noktasına alan roman, okuru sadece tarihsel bir sürece tanık etmemiş, aynı zamanda Max, Hegel, Kierkegaard gibi önemli isimleri de figürün dünyasına dahil ederek farklı bakış açıları sunmuştur. Özgürlük, korku, esaret kavramlarını figürün roman boyunca süren iç hesaplaşmalarıyla somutlaştırmıştır.

Abstract
Alfred Andersch is one of the important names of German literature. The works of the author, which had a great impact especially in the post-war German literature, attracted attention with its political content and received great acclaim. His works, which contain moral and political action, shed light on both a historical period and a social turmoil, have elevated the author to an important representative position. The author's novel The Cherries of Freedom, which we discussed in this study, is an important work that describes the National Socialist period quite successfully. The novel, which focuses on the National Socialist period, has not only witnessed a historical process, but also offered different perspectives by including important names such as Max, Hegel, Kierkegaard into the world of the figure. He embodied the concepts of freedom, fear, and bondage through the internal reckoning of the figure throughout the novel.
