Abstract
Günümüzde hem bireylerin hem de okulların sorumluluk sahibi olmalarına çok önem verilmektedir. Bu anlamda sosyal etkinlikler son yıllarda üzerinde en çok durulan konulardan biridir. Bu çalışmanın amacı Sabancı İlkokulu 3-A Sınıfı öğrencilerine Kızılayın faaliyetleri ve görevleri etkinliğinin düzenlenmesidir. Bu bağlamda, ilk önce sosyal sorumluluk kavramı açıklanmış ve eğitim kurumları açısından ele alınmıştır. Daha sonra Millî Eğitim Bakanlığı ilköğretim ve orta öğretim kurumları sosyal etkinlikler yönetmeliğine dayalı olarak sosyal sorumluluklar irdelenmiş ve bu kapsamda yapılabilecek çalışmalar değerlendirilmiştir. Son olarak, öğrencilerin Kızılay ile ilgili görüşleri belirlenmeye çalışılmıştır. Veriler, yarı yapılandırılmış görüşme formu ile toplanmıştır. İlkokul öğrencilerinin sosyal etkinliklere katılımının akademik başarılarına etki incelenmiştir. Araştırmanın çalışma grubunda 30 ilkokul öğrencisi bulunmaktadır. Katılımcılar genel olarak etkinliğin beklenen sonuçları vermesi için öğrencilerin erken yaşlarda bu tür etkinliklerde sorumluluk alma gereğini belirtmiştir.

Abstract
Today, responsible individuals and schools are considered important. In this sense, social activities are one of the most emphasized issues in recent years. The aim of this study is to evaluate the effectiveness of the activities and duties of the Kızılay to Sabancı Primary School Class 3-A students. For this purpose, firstly, the concept of social responsibility was explained and discussed in terms of educational organizations. Then, based on the social activities regulation of the Ministry of National Education, primary and secondary education institutions, their social responsibilities were examined and the studies that could be done in this context were evaluated. Finally, the students' views on Kızılay were tried to be determined. Data were collected with a semi-structured interview form. Participation of primary students in social activities effect on academic success was examined in the analysis. There are 30 primary school students in the study group of the research. In general, the participants stated that the activity was ideally very useful, but there were problems with planning. They argued that in order to increase awareness among children such a activity should be offered at an earlier age.
