Abstract
Eğitimin başladığı ilk yer her ne kadar aile olsa da öğrencilik hayatına başlayan bir bireyin adım attığı ilk formal kurum okuldur. Eğitimin başat aktörü öğretmen, formal kurumda bireyin sadece eğitim hayatını değil aynı zamanda sosyal yaşamını da doğrudan veya dolaylı olarak etkileyen kişidir. Toplumda öğretmenin hem öğrencilere hem de sosyal çevresine rol model olmada önemli bir yere sahip olduğu bilinmektedir. Sinema da öğretmenlere ve eğitim temasına ilk dönemlerinden itibaren pek çok filmde yer vermiştir. Eğitim temalı filmlerde öğretmenin sinemasal temsil açısından yönetmenlerin perspektifinden beyazperdeye yansıtıldığında bu temsillerin bazen dönemsel bazen de tercihe bağlı olarak farklılık gösterebildiği görülmektedir. Bu temsiller gerçek hayatla ya da gerçek hayatta örtüşmeyen doğrultuda olabilmektedir. Özgün bir üslubu olan Reha Erdem de yaptığı filmlerde eğitim olgusunun bileşenleri olan okul, öğretmen ve öğrencileri filmlerinde doğrudan veya dolaylı olarak işlemektedir. Bu çalışmanın amacı formal eğitime eklemlenen çocuk karakterlerin Reha Erdem sinemasından örneklem seçilen Beş Vakit (2006) ve Hayat Var (2008) filmlerinde öğretmenin temsilinin nasıl olduğuna dair bir saptamada bulunmaktır. Çalışmanın ilk bölümünde Türk sinemasında eğitim temalı filmlerin sinemada yansımasına ve öğretmenin temsiline; ikinci bölümde Reha Erdem‘in biyografisi ve uzun metrajlı filmlerine; son bölümde çalışmanın örneklemini oluşturan Beş Vakit (2006) ve Hayat Var (2008) filmlerinde ilgisiz, otoriter (katı-sert) ve cezalandırıcı öğretmen temsillerine rastlandığına dair bulgulara yer verilmiştir.

Abstract
Even if the informal education begins in a family, the first formal institution in which an individual who begins his/her student life is accepted as at the school. A teacher, the main character of education, is the one who directly or indirectly affects not only the educational life of a student but also social life in a formal institution. The teacher is known to have an essential place in being a role model to both students and social environment. Cinema has also handled teachers who are seen as role models, and therefore the theme of education in lots of movies from its early periods. In educational-themed movies, it is observed that the representations of teachers may diffrentiate in terms of either periodically or on preference when the teacher is represented within the perspective of the directors in cinematic representation. So, the represantions of teachers may coincide with real life or not. Reha Erdem, who has an unique style, also handle the components of educational phenomenon such as schools, teachers and students in his movies directly or indirectly. The aim of this study is to determine how the representation of the teacher in the movies Beş Vakit-Times and Winds (2006) and Hayat Var-My Only Sunshine (2008). The movies were selected as samples from Reha Erdem movies in which child characters have a formal education. Within the scope of this study, we will have a look at the reflection of education and the representations of teacher in Turkish movies in the first part and the biography of Reha Erdem and in his feature films in the second part. In the last part of the study, we will discuss the findings of the representation in the movies as indifferent, authoritatiran (stuffed) and punitive teachers in Beş Vakit-Times and Winds (2006) and Hayat Var-My Only Sunshine (2008) as seleceted as sample movies.
