Abstract
Bu araştırmanın amacı, ortaokul öğretmenlerinin sınıf yönetimi kaygı düzeylerinin belirlenmesidir. Çalışmada, araştırma yöntemi olarak betimsel tarama yöntemi kullanılmıştır. Araştırmanın evrenini Kocaeli ili Gebze ilçesinde görev yapmakta olan toplam 1300 ortaokul öğretmeni oluşturmaktadır. Örneklemi ise, kolay ulaşılabilir örnekleme yöntemi ile seçilen 500 ortaokul öğretmeni oluşturmuştur. Araştırmada elde edilen bulgular şunlardır: 1- Ortaokul öğretmenlerinin sınıf yönetimi kaygı düzeyleri yüksek olarak tespit edilmiştir. 2- Ortaokul öğretmenlerinin sınıf yönetimi kaygı düzeylerinde cinsiyet, medeni durum, yaş, eğitim düzeyi, mesleki kıdem yılı, branş ve kadro unvanı değişkenleri açısından anlamlı bir fark yoktur. 3- Ortaokul öğretmenlerinin sınıf yönetimi kaygı düzeylerinde sınıfta bulunan öğrenci sayısı açısından anlamlı bir fark vardır. Buna göre, sınıfında 30 öğrenciden daha az öğrencisi olan öğretmenler, 30 öğrenciden fazla olan öğretmenlere göre daha az kaygı düzeyine sahiptir.

Abstract
The purpose of this research is to explore the classroom management anxiety levels of middle school teachers. In the study, descriptive survey method was used as a research method. The population of the research consists of a total of 1300 middle school teachers working in Gebze, Kocaeli. The sample consisted of 500 middle school teachers selected by convenience sampling method. The findings obtained in the study are as follows: 1- Classroom management anxiety levels of middle school teachers were found to be high. 2- The classroom management anxiety levels of middle school teachers do not vary on gender, marital status, age, education level, professional seniority, branch, and staff title. 3- There is a significant difference in the classroom management anxiety levels of middle school teachers depending on the number of students in the classroom. Accordingly, teachers with less than 30 students in their class have less anxiety than teachers with more than 30 students.
