Abstract
Chopin, romantik çağ müzik literatürünün oluşumuna ve gelişimine önemli katkılar sağlamış olan önemli bir bestecidir. Besteci, çoğu çağdaşının aksine, neredeyse sadece piyano için besteler yapmıştır. Chopin’in eserleri, hem sanatçılar, hem de öğrencilerin repertuvarında özel bir yere sahiptir. Bununla birlikte, bestecinin eserleri, dünyanın önde gelen ünlü uluslararası yarışmalarına ve üniversitelerin öğretim programlarına dahil edilmiş, özellikle büyük formlu eserleri çok sayıda araştırmaya konu olmuşlar. Buna karşın Chopin’in sanatsal çalışmalarının merkezinde yer alan ve performans programlarında sıklıkla yer verilen piyano minyatürlerinden mazurkalar, gerek yurtdışında, gerekse Türkiye’de eğitsel ve müzikolojik bağlamda kapsamlı biçimde yeterince incelenmemiştir. Bu bağlamda çalışmada, Chopin’in romantik minyatür türünün parlak danslarından olan Mazurka La Minör Op.68 No.2 ve Fa Majör Op.68 No.3 eserleri incelenmiştir. Bu amaçla; Frederic Chopin’in hayatı, piyano müziği ve minyatürler, Chopin’in müziğinde minyatürler ve mazurkalar başlıkları altında kavramsal ve tarihsel bir çerçeve sunulmuş, adı geçen iki eser görsel örneklerle desteklenerek teknik ve müzikal açıdan analiz edilmiş ve mazurkaların icra ve pratik sürecine katkı sağlayacağı düşünülen bazı öneriler paylaşılmıştır. Çalışmanın literatürdeki önemli bir açığı tamamlayacağı düşünülmektedir. Ayrıca, sunulan tarihsel, kültürel ve müzikal çerçevenin eğitimcilere, öğrencilere ve piyanistlere icra ve pedagojik açılardan bazı ipuçları sunması beklenmektedir.

Abstract
Chopin is an important composer who made important contributions to the formation and development of the romantic era music literature. The composer, unlike most of his contemporaries, composed almost exclusively for piano. Chopin’s works have a special place in the repertoire of both artists and students. At the same time, the composer’s works have been included in the world’s leading international competitions and universities’ curricula, and especially his large-form works have been the subject of numerous studies. However, mazurka piano miniatures, which are at the center of Chopin’s artistic works and frequently included in performance programs, have not been studied extensively in terms of educational and musicology, both abroad and in Turkey. In this context, in this study, Mazurka A Minor Op.68 No.2 and F Major Op.68 No.3, which are among the bright dances of Chopin’s romantic miniature genre, were examined. For this purpose, a conceptual and historical framework is presented under the titles of Frederic Chopin’s life, piano music and miniatures, miniatures and mazurkas in Chopin’s music, the two works mentioned were analyzed technically and musically by supporting them with visual examples, and some suggestions that are thought to contribute to the execution and practice process of mazurkas are shared. It is thought that the study will fill an important gap in the literature. In addition, the presented historical, cultural and musical framework is expected to offer some clues to educators, students and pianists in terms of performance and pedagogy.
