Eserde, detache, legato, martele, staccato, spiccato, bağlı staccato, sautille, çift ses, akor, oktav ve flajole gibi icra teknikleri kullanılmıştır.

Abstract

This study includes Henryk Wieniawski's life, an important figure in the Romantic Period violin art, works and composition along with an analysis of form and performance techniques of his remarkable Violin Concerto op.22 in D minor, which has an important place in the violin repertoire. This research is significant in that it contributes to fill in the gap related to the few biographical studies and sources in Turkish about the composer in our country. This research also reveals the formal and performance characteristics of Wieniawski's Violin Concerto in D minor, and some clues about the style of expression adopted by Wieniawski in this work, which he composed in his relatively mature period. The results of the analysis show that the work consists of sonata allegro form, lied form and rondo form, respectively. Performance techniques such as detache, legato, martele, staccato, spiccato, flying staccato, sautille, chord, octave and flageolet are used in the work.
