Abstract
Giyim, toplumların kültürlerini, yaşam biçimlerini, gelenek ve göreneklerini en iyi yansıtan unsurların başında gelmektedir. Geleneksel giysiler, bütün özellikleriyle bir kültür sanat eserleridir. Geleneksel kültürümüzün ve el sanatlarımızın en önemli parçalarından biri olan kadın giysileri; motif zenginliği, canlılık ve zarafeti ile her dönemde sanatçıların ilgi alanına girmiştir. Kütahya ve çevresi kadın giysileri, Kütahya kadının manevi dünyasını yansıtan biçim ve motiflerle bezelidir. Anadolu dünyanın en eski yerleşim ve kültür merkezlerindendir. Medeniyetler merkezi Anadolu’nun İç Batı Ege bölgesinde bulunan Kütahya Osmanlı İmparatorluğu döneminde Germiyan beyliğinin merkezi olmasından dolayı Osmanlı Türk kültürünü en iyi yansıtan illerimizdendir. Kütahya’da yöresel el sanatları, yüzyıllardan beri gelişerek günümüze kadar gelmiştir. Kütahya ilinde geleneksel kadın giyimi ve giysi işlemeciliği önemli bir el sanatıdır. Bu araştırmada, Kütahya kadın giysilerinin motif, desen ve kompozisyon özellikleri incelenmiştir. Şalvar takımı Kütahya kadın giysileri araştırılmış, giysi sahiplerinin izniyle giysilerin fotoğrafları çekilerek; giysilerin desenleri vektörel olarak çizilmiştir. Giysilerin renk, süsleme özellikleri, motif, kompozisyon ve biçim özellikleri belirlenmiştir.

Abstract
Clothing is one of the elements that best reflects the cultures, lifestyles, traditions and customs of societies. Traditional clothes are all works of art and culture. One of the most important parts of our traditional culture and handicrafts is women; sclothing; motive richness, vitality an delegance, the artists have always been interested in the field in all times. Women’sclothing of Kütahya and the surroundings is decorated with forms and motifs reflecting the spiritual world of the woman. Anatolia is the oldest settlement and cultural center in the world. Situated in the inner western Aegean region in Anatolia, the center of civilizations, Kütahya is the capital of Germiyan Stateduring Ottoman period. Thus, it is one of the bes tcities reflecting Ottoman Turkish culture. Local handicrafts in Kütahya have developed since the centuries and have been uptodate. Traditional women’sclothing and clothing processing in Kütahya province is an important handcraft. In this research, the motif, pattern and composition characteristics of Kütahya women's clothes were examined. Inaddition, women'sclothes were searched in Kütahya, photographs of clothes were taken with the permission of the owners of clothes; The patterns of the clothes are drawn in vector. The color, decoration characteristics, motif, composition and form properties of the garments were determined.
