Abstract
Piyano literatürünün önemli bir kısmını çocuklar/gençler için bestelenen eserler oluşturmaktadır. Müzik tarihi içerisinde bazı büyük besteciler, çocukların/gençlerin eğitilmesi için eserler ve albümler bestelemişlerdir. Genç piyanistlerin eğitimi için kullanılan bu eserler, piyano literatürü içerisinde büyük önem taşımaktadır. Maykapar da Rus müzik eğitimine besteleri ve bilimsel çalışmaları ile katkıda bulunmuş piyanist, besteci ve eğitimcidir. Rus piyano literatüründe sık kullanılan bu eserler, farklı çalma tekniklerini içerisinde barındırması ve çocukların hayal dünyasına hitap etmesi ile göze çarpmaktadır. Bu çalışmada, Maykapar'ın hayatına yer verilmiş, ilgili araştırmalar taranmıştır. Bestecinin ulaşılabilen 4 albümünden , romantik tarzda ve şarkı formunda bestelenmiş 11 eser seçilmiş, incelenmiş ve bu eserlerin önemi vurgulanmıştır.

Abstract
The most of piano litarature has consisted of pieces which composed for children/youth. Throughout the musical history, some great composers composed pieces and albums to educate children/youth. These works used for the education of young pianists are great importance in the piano literature. Maykapar is a pianist, composer and lecturer who contributed to Russian musical education with compositions and scientific works. These compositions which are used commonly by Russian piano music has drew the attention with including various tecniques of play and striking children’s fantasy world. This research is reviewed the literature and explained the biography of Maykapar. From four albums which we could reach of the composer, 11 pieces composed in romantic style and form of song are selected, examined and emphasized the importance of these pieces.
