Abstract

Adanalı Ziyâ XIX. yüzyıl şâirlerindendir. 1859’da Adana’da doğdu. İlk ve orta öğrenimini Adana’da yaptı. Daha sonra İstanbul’da Enderun’a alındı ve Tıbbıye-i Şahani’de (Doktor mektebi) eğitime başladı. Bir yıl sonra okuldan ayrıldı ve Vakıflarda memurluğa başladı. Dönemin baskıcı yönetimine karşı şiirler yazdı. Tutuklanarak Fizan’a sürüldü. Afedilerek 1895’te Afyonkarahisar’a gönderildi. Burada 37 yıl görev yaptı ve 1932’de vefat etti. Adanalı Ziyâ, daha çok aşk, adalet, halk, hürriyet ve vatan temalı şiirler yazdı. Şiirlerini bir defterde toplamak istedi ise de gerçekleştiremedi. Şiirlerinin bir kısmı kayboldu. Bir kısmı çeşitli dergi ve gazetelerde -önemli hatalarla- yayınlandı. Birkaç makale dışında hakkında bilimsel bir çalışma yapılmadı. Yapılan çalışmalarda onun inancı ve bu tür şiirleri üzerinde pek durulmamıştır. Bu çalışmada Ziyâ’nın tevhîd ve münâcât manzumeleri tanıtılacaktır.

Abstract

Adanalı Ziya is one of poets of XIX. Century. He was born in 1859 in Adana. He completed his primary and secondary education in Adana. Then, he was taken to ‘Enderun’ in İstanbul and he started his education at Tıbbıye-i Şahani (medicine). He left this school after one year and he started to do officer in foundations. He wrote poems to opposite the period’s oppressive government. He arrested and banished to Fizan. Then he was forgiven and sent to Afyonkarahisar in 1895. He worked there 37 years and he died in 1932. Adanalı Ziya usally wrote poems about love, justice, public, freedom and homeland. He wanted to collect his poems in a book but he could not it. Much of his poems were lost. Some part of his poems were published in various magazines and newspapers with important mistakes. Researchers did not research about him except a few articles and the articles are not about his faith and his poems like this. We will introduce ‘tevhid’ and ‘münacat’ poems of Ziya in this work.
