Abstract
Sinema ortaya çıkışı ve amacı her ne kadar sanatsal bir çaba ve/veya eğlence unsuru olarak belirlenmiş olsa da, görsel unsurları, çarpıcılığı ve kitlelere seslenen bir yapıda olması sebebiyle düşüncelerin en etkileyici şekilde yansıtılmasına olanak veren metafor kullanımına en elverişli mecraların başında gelmektedir. Intime filmi, başından sonuna kadar kapitalizmi temsil eden metaforlar barındırdığı için inceleme konusu olarak seçilmiştir. Çalışmada göstergebilimsel analiz tekniği kullanılmıştır. Çalışmada filmin bütün sahneleri incelenerek, kapitalizmin önemli unsurlarından; para, özel mülkiyet, girişim özgürlüğü, ücretli emek, piyasa mekanizması, banka, kişisel çıkar, sınırlı devlet müdahalesi, sınıflı toplum yapısı olmak üzere dokuz kategori altında metaforik bulgular sıralanmıştır.

Abstract
Although the emergence and the aim of cinema are determined as an artistic effort and entertainment element, it is one of the most conducive to the use of metaphor which enables the reflections of the thoughts in the most impressive way because of its visual elements, its appeal and its appeal to the masses. The Intime film was chosen as the subject of investigation because it contained metaphors representing capitalism from beginning to end. Semiotic analysis technique was used in the study. In the study, all the scenes of the film are examined and important elements of capitalism; metaphorical findings are listed under nine categories: money, private property, freedom of enterprise, wage labor, market mechanism, bank, self-interest, limited state intervention, class society structure
