Abstract

Teknolojik gelişme ile birlikte sanal galerilerine geçişle yaşanan süreçte sanatta var olan sanat galerileri kültürünü yok olmaya karşı karşıya getirirken, 21.yüzyılın sanatçı-alıcı buluşmasını farklı ve sanal bir ortama taşımaya başlamıştır. Bu çalışmanın amacı gelişen teknolojinin sanatçı-alıcı buluşmasındaki etkilerini incelemektir. Çalışmada günümüz sanatının en son trendi olan, sanal galerileri ya da “e-galeriler” olarak adlandırılan, internet üzerinden sanat eserlerinin sergilenme konsepti ile geleneksel sanat galerileri arasındaki farklar üzerinde durulmuştur. Bu doğrultuda Türkiye’de önde gelen bazı sanatçılar ile görüşme yöntemi ile veri toplanmıştır. Yapılandırılmış görüşme formu doğrultusunda gerçekleştirilen görüşmelerden elde edilen bulgular sunulmuş ve yorumlanmıştır. Sanatçı görüşmelerinde genel olarak sanatçı-alıcı buluşmasında sanal galerilerin sanatı olumsuz etkilediği vurgulanmıştır.

Abstract

While the art galleries that existed in art in the process of transition to virtual galleries with technological development brought the culture againt extinction, it started to carry the artist-receiver meeting of the 21st century to a different and virtual environment. The aim of this study is to examine the effects of developing technology on artist-receiver meeting. In this study, the most recent trend of contemporary art, the virtual galleries or the so-called “e-galleries”, the concept of exhibiting art Works on the internet and the differences between the traditional art galleries. In this respect, Turkey has collected data through interviews with some of the leading artists. The findings of the interviews conducted in line with the structured interview form were presented and interpreted. In the artist interviews, it was emphasized that virtual galleries negatively affect art in the artist-buyer gathering.
