Abstract
Bu çalışma, 2013’den 2017'e kadar, Thomson Reuters'in Sosyal Bilimler Atıf İndeksi [SSCI] 'nda ve Ulakbim resmi sitesinden yayınlanan sosyal bilimler veri tabanındaki dergilerde yayınlanan biyoloji eğitimi alanında yapılan çalışmaların betimsel analizini içermektedir. Bu çalışmanın amacı, biyoloji eğitimi araştırmalarının eğilimlerini ve öncelikli araştırma konularını belirlemektir. Bu amaç doğrultusunda, biyoloji eğitimi anahtar kelime taraması ile 2013-2017 tarihleri arasındaki 39 yayın incelenmiştir. Bu çalışmada, verilerin analizi için, çalışmaların yıllara, araştırma konusuna, yazar sayısına, yayın diline, yayımlatılan dergi türlerine ve isimlerine göre dağılımı göz önüne alınmış, listeler haline getirilmiş ve frekans ve yüzde değerlerine göre yorumlanmıştır. Böylece bu çalışmanın, bu alandaki araştırmacılara çalışmaların güncel durumları ve eğilimleri hakkında yardımcı olması beklenmektedir.

Abstract
This study includes a descriptive content analysis of biology education research papers published in academic journals indexed in Social Science Citation Index [SSCI] of Thomson Reuters and ULAKBIM from 2013 to 2017. The aim of this study is to determine the trends and priority research topics of biology education researches. For this aim, it was examined totally 39 researches published during the years 2013-2017 with search the key word of biology education. In this study, to analysis the data, it was taken into account the distribution of the researches in terms of years, research topics, journal types and journal names, listed and interpreted according to frequency and percent values. Thus, this study is expected to assist the researchers about the trends and the current status of the studies in this field.
