Abstract
Bu araştırmanın amacı, sınıf öğretmenlerinin görev yaptıkları yerde karşılaştıkları sorunları belirlemek ve bu sorunların coğrafi bölgelere göre bir farklılık gösterip göstermediğini açığa çıkarabilmektir. Araştırma nitel paradigma anlayışına dayalı, durum çalışmasına uygun olarak desenlenmiştir. Türkiye’nin her bir coğrafi bölgesinden üçer olmak üzere toplam 21 ilden 245 sınıf öğretmeni araştırmanın katılımcılarını oluşturmaktadır. Veri toplama formu araştırmacılar tarafından geliştirilmiştir. Betimleyici istatistik ve içerik analiz yöntemleri kurallarına uyularak elde edilen bulgular; paydaş, donanım, politik, mesleki yeterlik ve yaşam kaynaklı sorunlar şeklinde beş ana tema olarak ortaya çıkmıştır. Farklı bölgelerde görev yapan katılımcı sınıf öğretmenlerinin karşılaştıkları sorunlar benzerlik gösterse de bu sorunların coğrafi bölgelere göre karşılaşılma sıklıkları önemli ölçüde farklılaşmaktadır.

Abstract
The aim of this study was to determine the troubles faced by teachers at their schools of duty and to find out the differences in these troubles based on geographical area. This study was designed as a case study according to qualitative approach. The participants of this study were comprised of 245 classroom teachers from 21 cities selected from three cities in each geographical area. The data collection form was developed by the researchers. The results gathered through the data analysed based on the rules of descriptive and content analysis methods indicated five main themes as stakeholder, equipment, policy, professional competence and life. The troubles faced by classroom teachers showed similarities in terms of the geographical area they worked whereas the frequencies of each trouble showed differences according to these areas.
