Abstract
Küresel gelişmeler her sektörde rekabeti ön plana çıkarmaktadır. Gelişen rekabet ortamında, küresel rekabet ile karşılaşan işletmelerin varlıklarını sürdürebilmeleri rekabet ortamına uyum sağlamaları ile mümkündür. Ülkelerin rekabet güçlerinin belirleyicisi sektörel rekabet gücüdür. Bu nedenle, ülkemizin kalkınmasında ve özellikle istihdamında önemli payı olan tarım sektörünün, sahip olduğu organik tarım potansiyelinin, bütüncül bir yaklaşımla ele alınarak rekabet gücü açısından incelenmesi gerekmektedir. İthalatçı ülkelerde tüketim alışkanlıklarında ve talepte değişmeler nedeniyle organik tarım dünyada çok büyük önem kazanmıştır. Gelişmiş ülkelerde artan iç talep ve gelişmekte olan ülkelerde ihracat potansiyeli organik tarımı teşvik etmiştir. Bütün ülkelerde organik tarımın payı konvansiyonel tarıma göre küçüktür. Fakat tüm dünyada çok hızlı büyüyen bir organik ürün pazarı vardır. Türkiye organik üretim ve ihracat potansiyeli açısından dünyada önemli ülkelerden biri olarak görülmektedir. Türkiye, çevresel iklim çeşitliliği ve toprak koşulları nedeniyle organik çiftçilik için en uygun ülkelerden biridir. Bu çalışmada, Türkiye’nin organik tarım potansiyeli dış ticarette rekabet gücü açısından incelenmiştir.

Global developments bring competition to the forefront in every sector. In an evolving competitive environment, it is possible to maintain the presence of enterprises that are faced with global competition by adapting to the competitive environment. Competitiveness of countries is determined by sectoral competitive power. For this reason, the agricultural sector, which has a significant share in the development of our country and its employment, needs to be examined in terms of competitiveness by taking a holistic approach to the organic agricultural potential. Due to changes in consumption behavior and demand of importer countries, organic agriculture has gained huge importance in the world.
