Abstract

Sovyet şair Olga Fedorovna Berggolts özellikle II. Dünya Savaşı’nda Leningrad Kuşatması süresince şehir radyosundaki çalışmalarıyla tanınmıştır. Şehirden tahliye edilmeyi kararlı bir şekilde reddeden Berggolts kuşatmanın 872 gününün tamamını Leningrad’ta geçirir. Radyo programında mikrofonundan şiirlerini okur, şehirdeki bombardıman hakkında haberler aktarır, aç ve üzgün Leningradlılara konuşmaları ve şiirleriyle cesaret verir. Berggolts’un milli birliği savunan şiirleri Leningradlıların umut ve inancını canlı tutmayı hedefler. Şiirleri kuşatmanın tüm acı gerçeklerine ayna tutar. Bunun yanı sıra, Berggolts’un şiirlerinde Sovyet kadınının savaş döneminde gösterdiği olağanüstü sabır, direnç ve kararlılık tasvir edilir. Bu çalışmanın amacı Olga Berggolts’un Leningrad Kuşatması döneminde 1941-1944 yılları arasında kaleme alınan şiirlerinin özelliklerini açıklamaya çalışmaktır.
